Use the Example sequence on pg 9 of the In-Class Exercises page to do a BLAST search. Enter your answers for Question #2 (highlighted in grey) when you do this BLAST search.

2) Reading Sequencing Gels

Choose 2 of the following sequencing gel images. Refer to the sequencing video for how to interpret the gels. Use the gels to get ~25-30 nucleotides of sequence to use to perform a BLAST search (leave the search term as “nucleotide collection (nr/nt)” rather than human specific).
