Do you eat local foods? Why or why not? Given what you’ve learned in this module, are you more (or less) inclined to seek out local foods? Explain.

 

Part 2: Greenhouse Gas Emissions & Climate Change

Does your current diet contribute to GHG emissions? How, or in what ways? Are you conscious of this when you shop, or when choosing what to eat? Explain. For yourself, at this time, accounting for your unique circumstances and limitations, what would you consider a “sustainable diet?” Discuss.

Do you trust institutions to keep your food(s) and the food supply safe? Why or why not? Given what you’ve learned in this module, and your own observations & experiences, note areas where our current legislation (or approaches) to food safety could be improved.

 

Part 4: Urban Agriculture

Does your diet include any food(s) that could be considered sourced from urban agriculture? Is this an important feature for you of a sustainable diet (both now, and in the future)? Why or why not?
