Pay systems in private-sector

Conduct reading and research on pay systems in private-sector, for-profit organizations. What did you learn about internal and external equity in U.S. organizations? Does it appear that employees are compensated fairly? Give examples of factors that are used to determine the level of pay employees receive and how pay increases are determined. What factors do you think should be used to determine the level of pay and how pay increases are determined? Why? Discuss actual private-sector workplace examples where pay systems motivated employees to increase their productivity levels. Discuss some improvements that should be made in the way pay is determined.
