Hello, I need help with this homework. I’m trying to start an Evidence Based Practice paper, but I have to submit an abstract and outline of it first. The paper will about caring (in nursing perspective).

 

Abstract Assignment and EBP Topic Outline

Students will explore the Nursing literature in CHINAL, ProQuest, The Journal of Nursing Scholarship or The Online Journal of Knowledge Synthesis or other peer reviewed articles.  Students will select one qualitative and one quantitate research abstract (2) related to current nursing issue in support of your formal EBP research paper. Other topics that you might consider include QSEN, Informatics, Quality Improvement, Team Work & Collaboration and Violence in the Workplace.  Students will submit a 1 page report in response to the following question:

Write a brief one page summary and indicate how you might incorporate your findings in your current or future practice and you will describe the contribution to the nursing body of knowledge.

 

To complete this assignment:

Search nursing literature (CHINAL, ProQuest, The Journal of Nursing Scholarship or The Online Journal of Knowledge Synthesis or other peer reviewed articles) and find an abstract of a quantitative study and an abstract of a qualitative study that relate to your EBP topic. Copy the abstracts into a Word document. Identify each abstract with a quantitative or qualitative heading. Make sure to use APA style.

Complete your research of peer-reviewed journals in support of your EBP topic. Compile those journal articles and create your reference page for the EBP. Make sure you use APA style in the creation of this reference page.
