Outline for PhD doctorate

Here is the template to follow, but it will be based on the previous 3 articles.

 

1.      Introduction

a.       Engage the reader, provide context for the paper, introduce the articles, and state your thesis in an explicit manner that provides a clear purpose, and forecasts the direction you are going.

2.      Theme 1 [WU1] 

a.       (Let’s pretend that all three articles describe the health benefits of yoga). Yoga is a discipline for the body and mind, with mental and physical health benefits.

                                                              i.      Article 1 examines the physical health benefits of yoga

1.      Increased flexibility, increased core strength, better posture

                                                            ii.      Article 2 explores the mental health benefits of yoga

1.      Practitioners are more relaxed, have better control of their breathing

                                                          iii.      Article 3 discusses both physical and mental health benefits

1.      The meditative elements of yoga are linked with decreased stress, depression, and anxiety; correlation with lower blood pressure, reduced chronic pain, and better sleep
