These students enroll to pursue higher education in the UK. In this particular study the experiences of International students towards seeking counseling services will be examined. The motivations for seeking counseling services among international students as well as the hinderances will be assessed. The study will utilize qualitative research method the interviews will be conducted and findings will be collected. The reasons by some students not seeking counseling services include lack of immediate solution little confidence in the counselors the absence of privacy in the counseling center and perception that higher level students can handle their problems therefore suggesting that counseling is meant for lower level students. What motivates them to seek counselling and what deters them from seeking counselling. It is a qualitative research proposal. I intend to use IPA and thematic analysis.
